About me
My name is Morgan Keohane and I am a Teacher Librarian for Boston Public Schools. I have been at the P.A. Shaw Elementary School in Dorchester, MA since 2014. I have built the school’s library from the ground up and am passionate about providing my students with the skills to analyze and interpret the world. I want my students using information to engage in inquiry-based learning and answer questions they care about. In 2018 I won the Massachusetts School Library Association President's Award. I hold a BA in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Kentucky and an MSLIS from Simmons. I enjoy reading, going to the beach, taking care of my rescue animals, and cheering on the Boston Bruins.
